assignment:
Deliver panoramic and maintenance-free windows for a family villa near the beach able with withstand the damp and salty seaside environment. Comply with local architectural standards and design regulations.
Our
view
We were tasked by a pleasant couple from New Zealand who came across our windows completely on accident with delivering exceptionally durable windows to create beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We chose wood-aluminium windows with a special black finish, which was created for coastal areas, so that the windows will serve as long and reliably as for customers in Slovakia.
We reached for the darkest black we could find. It is a local custom in New Zealand that windows are finished in black from the interior and the exterior. With the white walls in the interior and the wood cladding on the exterior, this colour delivered a beautiful contrast.
Oversize panoramic Sky sliding systems create a wonderfully bright interior and provide a comfortable transition to the garden space. Oversize products were used in practically all rooms, including the bathrooms, and give the home a bold and modern look with a positive and light atmosphere.
Uniqueness of the project
Until now, we have been of the opinion that wood-aluminium windows in black will simply be a detriment to the potential and beauty of the wood structure. This house in New Zealand convinced us of just the opposite. Adherence to local architectural customs once again broadened our horizons and added to our courage to try bolder combinations.
